Live

The Observatory (Singapore)

Electronica? Folk? Rock? Yes and No!! The Observatory explores a new sound frontier in the deepest corner of your soul. Supporting their 2nd album release “Blank Walls”, co-produced by the legendary Jorgen Traeen (Kings of Convenience, Sondre Lurch, and Jaga Jazzist). The first time ever for Bangkokians to witness their chaotic soundscape in an intimate venue.

Spydamonkee

A must-see for all Hip Hop DJs. The true scientist of sounds. His innovative performance of feedback noise and scratch dub session was one of the best in SO::ON’s history. Spydamonkee is back with a new uncompromising set. How far will he go this time?

Goose + Atit Sornsongkram

Their wall of distorted sound will bend you and their softest moments will leave you sweetly confused. One of the most exciting rock acts of the year. Joined by Atit Sornsongkram
(of Armchair)’s haunting whispers performing his soon-to-be-released solo project.

Space Bucha feat Deathtrip + Kijjaz Monotone

Bangkok’s extreme sound specialists meet Kijjaz of Monotone. Nobody knows what will come out. Whatever it is, it’ll surely be something we never heard before in our life.

Slur

Bangkok’s rock’n roll secret weapon. Lots of people are talking about them but never seen them yet. Here comes Slur. Their hyper driving garage sound and cool performance will surely amaze you.

about ------------------------------------------------------------

We are so::on, a collective of music makers and music-lovers based in Bangkok. We aim to kick-start the electronic music scene in Thailand.
by putting on shows and club nights in the capital. We have already organised a hugely successful show and the About Cafe which featured the most exciting Thai electronic acts playing live and international artists DJing. This event attracted an audience of 300 people and many more watched it live over the internet.

Now we have produced a CD compilation which complements this event, featuring acts who played on that night and even more Thai talent!
This is a rare chance for an international audience to hear original electronic beats from an exciting city ready to make its mark on the electronic scene. The 5 artists on this compilation represent the cream of the Thai crop and they are proud to present their songs to the world.

All of these artists are well-respected at home and each of them is looking for an international record deal so that they can reach out to
a much wider audience. Please contact us if you want further details on any of them.
